Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 3, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Aletheos 30 Days and related features, including Aletheos Guide, journal, Selah, and final synthesis features (the “Service”).

The Service is operated by BS3MD PLLC, doing business as AletheosMD (“Aletheos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Purpose of the Service

Aletheos 30 Days is a Christian Bible-study and spiritual-reflection experience. It is designed to help participants engage Scripture, reflect honestly, pray, journal, and consider themes including grace, trust, surrender, obedience, and purpose.

The Service may use artificial intelligence to help participants explore their reflections and synthesize themes from their study.

2. Spiritual Study, Not Professional Care

Aletheos 30 Days is a spiritual reflection tool.

It is not:

  • emergency care
  • medical diagnosis or treatment
  • detoxification or withdrawal management
  • psychiatric or psychological treatment
  • psychotherapy
  • professional counseling
  • pastoral counseling
  • legal advice

Aletheos Guide is an AI Bible-study companion, not a physician, therapist, counselor, pastor, or emergency service.

Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional evaluation or treatment when professional care is appropriate.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.

3. Separate AletheosMD Clinical Relationships

Some people who use Aletheos 30 Days may separately receive medical or other professional services from AletheosMD.

Use of this standalone Service does not by itself establish a physician-patient or other professional treatment relationship.

If you separately enter into a clinical relationship with AletheosMD, that relationship is governed by separate clinical agreements, consents, policies, and applicable law.

These Terms do not replace those documents.

4. Artificial Intelligence

The Service includes AI-generated content.

AI can be helpful, but it can also:

  • misunderstand what you wrote
  • miss important context
  • produce incomplete information
  • make factual or interpretive errors
  • generate content you disagree with

AI-generated responses should be treated as prompts for reflection, not as authoritative medical, psychological, pastoral, theological, legal, or other professional advice.

You remain responsible for deciding what you believe, what actions you take, and when to seek help from qualified people.

5. Scripture and Interpretation

Aletheos 30 Days encourages participants to read Scripture directly.

Teaching notes, reflection prompts, AI responses, and other commentary represent study aids and may reflect particular interpretations. They should not be understood as the only possible interpretation of a Biblical passage.

Participants are encouraged to engage Scripture directly and, where appropriate, discuss questions with trusted pastors, spiritual leaders, or other mature members of their faith community.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not intentionally access another participant’s account or private information.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the reflections, prayers, journal entries, and other original content you submit to the Service.

You give Aletheos a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the Service
  • provide features you request
  • generate AI responses
  • maintain your study history
  • secure the Service
  • comply with law

We do not claim ownership of your personal spiritual reflections.

8. Aletheos Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its curriculum, written prompts, teaching notes, software, visual design, branding, logos, and original content, is owned by Aletheos or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You may share a link to the Service.

Unless we separately give permission, you may not:

  • reproduce or republish substantial portions of the curriculum
  • sell or sublicense the curriculum
  • remove branding or ownership notices
  • create a competing commercial product by copying the Service
  • reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except where law expressly permits it

Churches, ministries, treatment programs, or other organizations that want to use or distribute Aletheos 30 Days beyond ordinary individual use may contact us regarding appropriate use.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate applicable law
  • gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • interfere with Service security
  • distribute malware
  • abuse or overload the Service
  • impersonate another person
  • obtain another participant’s private information
  • use automated means to scrape or copy substantial portions of the Service

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that policy, including processing by service providers such as Supabase and OpenAI. Please review the Privacy Policy before submitting sensitive information.

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruption or error.

We may correct technical problems, security issues, or content errors at any time.

12. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is:

  • being used unlawfully
  • compromising security
  • accessing another user’s information
  • materially interfering with the Service
  • violating these Terms

You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will always be available
  • AI output will always be accurate
  • every interpretation or suggestion will be appropriate for you
  • the Service will produce any particular spiritual, personal, recovery, or health outcome

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aletheos and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aletheos’s total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid specifically for access to Aletheos 30 Days during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
  • one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

15. No Guaranteed Outcome

Aletheos 30 Days is an invitation to study and reflection. We do not promise:

  • sobriety
  • recovery
  • symptom improvement
  • healing
  • reconciliation
  • spiritual transformation
  • any particular personal outcome

Your experience will depend on many factors outside our control.

16. Age Requirement

The Service is intended for adults age 18 and older.

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute that is not otherwise subject to a mandatory legal forum will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Michigan, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date will identify the most recent version.

If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement governing use of the standalone Aletheos 30 Days Service, except where you have a separate written agreement with Aletheos that expressly governs the same subject.

Separate clinical agreements with AletheosMD remain separate and are not replaced by these Terms.
